Samsung is set to unveil its latest Galaxy devices at its summer Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22 in London. As with previous years, the company is expected to focus heavily on its foldable lineup while also teasing the next wave of Galaxy AI experiences and wearable devices.
The Galaxy Unpacked keynote begins at 9 a.m. ET / 6 a.m. PT and will be livestreamed worldwide. The biggest announcement is expected to be the Galaxy Z Fold 8 family. Samsung has remained tight-lipped about its announcements. However, the company has been teasing “new form factors,” suggesting Galaxy Unpacked could feature more than the usual annual refreshes.
A lot of anticipation is set for what this could mean for the Galaxy Z Fold 8. Samsung is also expected to introduce the Galaxy Z Flip 8, bringing updated hardware, Galaxy AI enhancements, and refinements to its compact foldable.
This year’s event comes at an important time for Samsung. With Apple widely expected to enter the foldable smartphone market later this year, Samsung has an opportunity to reinforce its lead in the category before the competition heats up.
Beyond smartphones, wearable devices are likely to receive plenty of stage time. Reports point to the arrival of the Galaxy Watch 9 series and more.
One of the more intriguing possibilities is Samsung’s long-awaited XR smart glasses. The company has already confirmed it’s working alongside Google on AI-powered eyewear, and Galaxy Unpacked could finally provide a closer look at the hardware, software, and launch timeline.
As for the Galaxy Ring 2, expectations are more reserved. While Samsung has acknowledged that a successor is in development, most reports suggest it’s still too early for a full reveal.
