Public Mobile Hikes Price of its 10GB Plan Ahead of Back to School
Telus-owned Public Mobile continues to tweak its plans ahead of the back to school season. Today it increased the price of one of its 4G plans.
Here are the Public Mobile plans as of July 21, 2026:
As you can see, the 10GB plan has increased in price by $2 per month. Public Mobile previously let people know the $26 price was set to end on July 20, and fast forward one day and the price has jumped. Looking at the prices, it’s clear they want customers to head towards a $28 or $30 plan for more data.
This price increase comes ahead of back to school marketing and promos, expected to land in early August. This is not the time to jump on a new cellphone plan. Despite the single price increase, the $28/10GB plan is still ‘cheaper’ than what rivals Lucky Mobile and Chatr are offering.
