We’re into the first week of August so let’s take a look at what the plans are from Fido, Virgin Plus and Koodo compared to last month. With summer slowly coming to a close (say it ain’t so!), there aren’t many changes this month as expected.
Here are plans from Fido, Virgin Plus and Koodo in August 2026 below, for bring your own device customers and after autopay discounts:
Fido
No changes to Fido’s plans as of today, compared to July.
Virgin Plus
Virgin has also kept its prices the same for August compared to July.
Koodo
Looking at Koodo, it hasn’t made any major changes either, besides the $40/10GB student deal (which is not great when compared to other carriers).
Why the lack of changes? People aren’t exactly in malls shopping for new cellphone plans in the summer. The best plans will likely come again during Black Friday and also into the holidays and Boxing Day.
