Fizz Wi-Fi Calling Is Rolling Out and Here Is How to Enable It

Fizz mobile subscribers now have access to Wi-Fi Calling, allowing users to place calls and send text messages over a local Wi-Fi connection when cellular reception is weak or non-existent.

The carrier recently updated its website with an official Wi-Fi Calling support guide detailing the full rollout and exact setup steps.

To use the feature, subscribers must be connected to the Fizz network, have a VoLTE-compatible SIM card or eSIM, and use a device certified for use on the network.

How to Enable Wi-Fi Calling on iPhone

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Apps, then select Phone.
  3. Select Wi-Fi Calling.
  4. Toggle the feature on.

How to Enable Wi-Fi Calling on Samsung

  1. Open the Phone app.
  2. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Turn on Wi-Fi Calling.

How to Enable Wi-Fi Calling on Other Android Devices

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Network & Internet or Mobile Networks.
  3. Tap Mobile Data, Mobile Network, or SIM Cards > Fizz.
  4. Select Wi-Fi Calling and toggle it on.

Users must also configure an emergency address within their phone’s Wi-Fi Calling settings to ensure proper location tracking for 911 services.
