Pre-Orders for Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition Consoles Go Live Today in Canada

Ahead of Xbox’s 25th anniversary, pre-orders for the brand’s transparent Xbox Series X25 limited edition collection go live in Canada today. Marking Xbox’s 25th anniversary, the company is launching a console and a special edition controller.

During Gamescom, Xbox announced that its Xbox Series X25 limited edition console will be available in Canada, the US, and other global markets. Pre-orders go live at 10 AM ET/7PT and are being made available on the official Xbox Store online.

The Xbox Series X25 limited edition collection was first announced at the Xbox Games Showcase earlier this year in June. The console features a transparent green design, harkening back to the original Xbox console. As Xbox states, “every detail was created to celebrate the players, games, and moments that have shaped XBOX over the past 25 years.”

Each console is individually numbered. So, everyone who purchases a console will have a unique engraving commemorating the device’s manufacture. Additionally, every Xbox Series X25 limited edition console comes with a digital code for Halo: Campaign Evolved. 

Xbox is also launching a special edition wireless controller. To complement the 25th-anniversary console, the controller features the same transparent green design. The controller also features the “Xbox 25″ text.

This collection is our way of celebrating the community that has made XBOX what it is today,” the company said in its announcement post on Xbox Wire. “Thank you for being part of this journey.”

Pricing for the Xbox Series X25 limited edition collection in Canada has not been announced as of the time of writing. Xbox has said the console has an MSRP of $899.99 USD (roughly $1,247 CAD). The console then ships on November 13th, two days before the 25th anniversary. The controller ships earlier, on October 20th with pricing set at $99.99.
