Rogers BCAA Back to School Deal: $40/125GB Canada-US

British Columbia Automobile Association (BCAA) members have a new Rogers back-to-school offer in their inboxes, 125GB of data that works across Canada and the US with no roaming fees, plus unlimited talk and text, for $40/month on a new line when you bring your own phone.

According to an email obtained by iPhone in Canada on September 2, that $40 price is $5 off the regular $45/month member rate. The extra $5 is a Red Wireless discount, applied as $5 off each month for 24 months or as a one-time $120 credit.

The program is provided by Red Wireless, the exclusive Rogers Authorized Dealer for these member deals, and it sits on the Rogers Preferred Program. It is online only, not available in store, and you have to validate membership with a card and ID at purchase, with Rogers able to ask for proof anytime.

The email also says the offer is limited time while quantities last and subject to change without notice. It may be available for new and existing Rogers customers where service exists, with additional fees possibly applying on top of the advertised $40 rate. Some conditions apply according to the email, and members have to go through the online Rogers offer portal rather than a store to start the order.

If you need a new phone instead of bringing your own, the same email says a $1,200+ Google Pixel 10 can be $0/month on select plans with financing.

BCAA has offered Rogers member plans since those $45/50GB deals in January 2024, and in June it bundled an iPhone Air and Apple Watch for $60 a month, and this one is bring-your-own-phone, limited time, taxes extra, with the full terms on the Red Wireless BCAA portal.
