Meta has just announced the launch of Meta One, its new multi-tiered subscription service offering premium AI features, app customisations, and business tools across Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp.

Meta One aims to cater directly to power users, digital creators, and commercial brands who want access to high-compute AI features and advanced account management tools. Meta has confirmed the core experiences across its apps and Meta AI will remain free for general users.

The rollout introduces single-app plans alongside multi-platform bundles. Standalone subscriptions focus on personalization and expanded user insights:

• WhatsApp Plus ($2.99 per month): Includes custom themes, unique app icons, exclusive sticker effects, option to pin extra chats, and scheduled backup options.
• Instagram Plus ($3.99 per month): Unlocks custom fonts for Stories and Direct Messages, notifications showing who views your Stories, and previews for incoming direct messages.
• Facebook Plus ($3.99 per month): Adds custom app icons, expanded Reels analytics, and “super reactions” on feed posts and video content.

For users seeking bundled access alongside heavy AI capabilities, Meta is offering two all-in-one tiers:

• Core Bundle ($7.99 per month): Combines the features of all three individual app subscriptions. It also grants increased access to compute-heavy AI generation tools, including Meta AI’s image and video creation capabilities, powered by the Muse generation model.
• Premium Bundle ($19.99 per month): Delivers maximum access limits for video generation, image editing tools like Instagram’s Restyle, and creative AI features across all platforms.

The subscription plans are rolling out globally across all supported markets, with Meta planning to extend subscription features to its video-editing apps and smart glasses hardware in future updates.
