Apple’s AirPods 4 have dropped to clearance pricing at Costco Canada, just days before the next generation arrives.
Costco is now selling AirPods 4 for $139.97, down from $174.99. That’s a savings of $35.02, or about 20%.
Costco prices ending in .97 typically indicate a clearance item, so once remaining stock is gone, it may not return. With AirPods 5 launching Friday, retailers are starting to clear out the previous generation.
Amazon.ca has also dropped AirPods 4 to $140, just three cents more. If you have Amazon gift card credit or want Prime shipping, that may be the more convenient option. Costco, meanwhile, offers a 45-day return window.
The Costco price is currently listed online, while warehouse pricing and availability may vary by location. An additional eco fee may also apply depending on the province.
AirPods 4 feature Apple’s H2 chip, Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking, Voice Isolation for clearer calls and improved resistance to dust, sweat and water.
They also come with a USB-C charging case, with Apple rating total listening time at up to 30 hours with the case included.
This is the standard AirPods 4 model and does not include Active Noise Cancellation. Apple also sells a higher-end AirPods 4 version with ANC and additional charging case features at $209. But at that price you may as well buy AirPods 5 with ANC at the same price of $209.
Costco is limiting purchases to two units per membership per day. A USB-C charging cable is not included.
At $139.97, Costco’s clearance price is one of the better AirPods 4 deals we’ve seen in Canada. Again, Amazon.ca is essentially matching the deal at $140 if faster shipping or Amazon credit works better for you. These might make for some good Christmas gifts if you’re already thinking about the holidays.
