Apple Raises iPhone 18 Pro Repair Prices in Canada, Major Damage Hits $1,239

Apple has updated its out-of-warranty repair pricing in Canada for the new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, with most repair costs staying the same from last year but battery replacements and major damage getting more expensive.

For the iPhone 18 Pro, Apple is charging the following:

• Battery service: $179, up $14
• Back glass damage: $219, unchanged
• Rear camera damage: $339, unchanged
• Screen damage: $429, unchanged
• Screen and back glass damage: $549, unchanged
• Other damage: $1,169, up $140

The biggest jump is under Apple’s “other damage” category, which rises from $1,029 on the iPhone 17 Pro to $1,169 this year.

For the larger iPhone 18 Pro Max, the prices are:

• Battery service: $179, up $14
• Back glass damage: $219, down $30
• Rear camera damage: $339, unchanged
• Screen damage: $499, unchanged
• Screen and back glass damage: $629, unchanged
• Other damage: $1,239, up $140

That means most common repairs are holding steady this year, while battery replacements are slightly more expensive and serious damage is where Apple has pushed prices higher. Other damage at $1,239 for the iPhone 18 Pro Max? Ouch. That’s nearly the price of a new iPhone 17 on its own.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max also gets one small price cut, with back glass repair dropping to $219 from $249 last year.

A screen replacement on the iPhone 18 Pro Max still costs nearly $500, while major damage can now run as high as $1,239 before tax.
