Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for October 2026, headlined by EA Sports’ F1 25.

PlayStation Plus members can download F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 beginning October 6. All three games will remain available to claim until November 2. Here’s what’s coming this month:

F1 25 | PS5

F1 25 is the latest entry in EA Sports’ Formula 1 series and features the third chapter of the cinematic Braking Point story mode.

Players can create their own F1 team in the revamped My Team 2.0 mode or compete through a recreation of the 2025 Formula 1 season. The game also includes reverse-track layouts for select circuits and content inspired by F1: The Movie.

Hunt: Showdown 1896 | PS5

Crytek’s Hunt: Showdown 1896 combines extraction shooter mechanics with supernatural horror.

Players enter monster-filled environments alone or with teammates to track targets, collect bounties and escape while competing against other hunters trying to do exactly the same thing. Losing a hunter means permanently losing that character and their equipment.

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 | PS5, PS4

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 takes the series’ enormous alien battles and rebuilds them using a colourful voxel art style. Players assemble an EDF squad from more than 100 characters drawn from across the franchise, switching between team members during battles against massive enemies.

The October lineup follows September’s PlayStation Plus games. Members have until October 5 to claim September’s Psychonauts 2, Stardew Valley and Viewfinder before they’re replaced. The new games are available to all PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra and Premium members. As always, we recommend redeeming all games on your account so they remain accessible as long as you have an active PlayStation Plus membership down the road.
