‘Star Wars: Galactic Racer’ Launches Free With Amazon Prime on Luna

Amazon is giving Prime members the opportunity to play Star Wars: Galactic Racer on Luna, starting today.
The company announced that Star Wars: Galactic Racer is now available on Amazon Luna alongside its worldwide launch. Prime members can play the game’s full single-player campaign at no additional cost.
Developed by Fuse Games, Galactic Racer is a high-speed racing game set during the early New Republic era. Players take control of Shade, a racer competing in the underground Galactic League while chasing both glory and revenge. The game includes several classes of repulsorcraft with different handling characteristics.
Landspeeders favour aggressive takedowns and cornering, while speeder bikes emphasize hard braking and rapid acceleration. A new skim speeder also focuses on maintaining momentum and hitting precise racing lines. And yes, there are podracers.
The iconic vehicles operate at considerably higher speeds and compete separately from other vehicle classes. The Phantom Menace’s Sebulba also returns as one of the racers players encounter. Courses stretch across familiar and new Star Wars locations, including Jakku’s Graveyard of Giants, where players race through wrecked Star Destroyers and AT-ATs. Ando Prime and the acid-filled Sentinel I are also included.
Beyond the campaign, Galactic Racer offers Arcade events built around shorter objectives and Scenarios featuring longer runs with unique rules and characters.
The Luna release is particularly notable because Amazon says it’s the first time Prime members can access a major new release on the service on day one. Amazon relaunched Luna in Canada last year, expanding the selection of games included with Prime to more than 50 titles.
Luna is also now available directly through Rogers Xfinity TV boxes, alongside PCs, Macs, smartphones, tablets, Fire TV devices and supported smart TVs.
Prime members can play Star Wars: Galactic Racer through Amazon Luna starting today and continue to as long as they maintain an active subscription.
