XREAL has confirmed Canadian pricing and availability details for its upcoming AURA spatial computing glasses, developed alongside Google and Qualcomm.

Announced Wednesday, the XREAL AURA starts at $1,829, while a higher-end configuration costs $2,149 in Canada. Pre-orders are currently restricted to customers who placed paid reservations before October 7, with general orders opening in the coming weeks.

The glasses combine Google’s Android XR platform, Gemini AI and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Reality Elite technology. Rather than cramming all the processing hardware into the glasses, XREAL uses a split-compute design.

The glasses weigh less than 95 grams and connect to a separate computing puck running Android XR. That puck handles processing, doubles as a navigation trackpad and can be carried using a pocket clip or lanyard.

XREAL AURA also features a 70-degree field of view, optical see-through displays, precise hand tracking and Sound by Bose audio. Users can access Android applications through Google Play, with XREAL positioning the device for gaming, entertainment, productivity and development.

Two configurations will be available in Canada:

  • 12GB RAM and 256GB storage: $1,829 CAD
  • 16GB RAM and 512GB storage: $2,149 CAD

Customers can also choose between medium (60–66mm) and large (66–72mm) glasses sizes. Unlike fully enclosed mixed-reality headsets, AURA’s optical see-through design allows users to maintain a direct view of their surroundings while interacting with digital content.

XREAL says shipments will begin soon in Canada, the United States, Japan and South Korea, with additional markets following in 2027. However, the company hasn’t announced a specific Canadian shipping date.

Existing reservation holders will receive instructions for completing their purchases. New customers can still place a deposit through the official XREAL AURA website for priority delivery. Further details about AURA are expected ahead of its launch later this year.
