Bell Named Canada’s Most Valuable Telecom Brand, Ranks Sixth Overall

Bell is Canada’s most valuable telecom brand, according to Kantar’s BrandZ 2026 Most Valuable Brands ranking, released today. It also came sixth among all Canadian brands.

Kantar puts a value on brands using financial data plus consumer research. It says it tracks more than 22,000 brands in 54 markets, based on interviews with millions of consumers since 1998.

“Being named Canada’s most valuable telecom brand is a powerful reflection of the connection we’ve built with Canadians and the trust they place in Bell. We earn that trust every day by putting our customers first, investing in the country’s best networks,” said Devorah Lithwick, SVP, Chief Brand Officer, Bell, in a statement to iPhone in Canada on Thursday.

Bell links the ranking to its fibre and 5G networks, along with its work in AI and media. The news lands in a busy week for Canadian telecoms. Ottawa just released a telecom competition roadmap aimed at more choice and lower prices. Bell also plans to sell nearly half its wireless towers for $2.45 billion.

A brand ranking isn’t the same as a better deal, though. It measures what the name is worth, not what your plan costs. If you’re comparing the Big 3 and Freedom on price, our October 2026 plans roundup has the latest rates.
