Skip is Giving 10 Canadians Free McDonald’s for an Entire Year

Skip has officially launched a blockbuster promotion that sounds almost too good to be true. The company is searching for 10 Canadians to crown as “Meallionaires”, handing out free McDonald’s for an entire year.

For anyone who relies on late-night fries, morning McMuffins, or midday burger runs, this giveaway is the ultimate prize. Instead of paying for delivery or ordering out of pocket, the chosen winners will get regular access to their favourite menu items delivered straight to their doors courtesy of Skip.

The campaign leans heavily into the playful concept of becoming a Meallionaire, i.e. someone whose wealth isn’t measured in traditional cash, but in the sheer luxury of never having to worry about paying for fast food orders again.

Here is everything you need to know about how to enter and secure your shot at free McDonald’s for a year:

• Entry Period: The contest runs from November 2 through December 13.
• How to Enter: Place and complete an order from any participating McDonald’s restaurant through the Skip app during the competition window. Every standard order counts as an entry.
• Boost Your Odds: Active Skip+ members automatically receive three entries for every qualifying order, giving frequent users a better statistical shot at taking home the grand prize.
• In-Person Pop-Up Events: Skip is taking the celebration beyond the app with high-energy pop-up activations in four major cities, giving fans a chance to step up and potentially get crowned live on the spot:
  • Toronto: November 7 at 3 Blue Jays Way (12 PM ET)
  • Winnipeg: November 14 at The Forks (12 PM CT)
  • Calgary: November 21 at Stephen Avenue Walk (12 PM MT)
  • Edmonton: November 28 at ICE District Plaza (12 PM MT)

Each grand prize winner will get the exclusive title of becoming a Skip Meallionaire, with up to 365 redemptions of McDonald’s orders (up to $30 toward each eligible order), plus a complimentary Skip+ membership, which includes $0 delivery fee on nearly every order and exclusive in-app savings.
