For those thinking of buying an Amazon Kindle, now may be the time as the company has slashed both its regular Kindle and Paperwhite models by $10 in Canada. The Kindle now costs $79 whereas the high resolution front lit Paperwhite is now $129.

Amazon launched the Kindle ebook stores last December in Canada, which made it easier for iOS users of the Kindle app to sync their book purchases across their devices. I enjoy reading on my Kindle Paperwhite over my Retina iPad because the front lit screen is much easier on the eyes at night and produces less eye strain.
