BMO Mobile Banking has been updated with a few features today, with the most notable being able to send out Interac e-Transfer requests.
For those looking to request money from friends or family, you can now do so under INTERAC e-Transfers in the “More” menu section of the iPhone app.
When it comes to paying bills, new payee shortcuts are available, so you can “add CRA and BMO RRSP products easily.”
The main page of the “More” menu now has ‘Help’ information, sharing information such as how to access updates regarding your account and how to perform actions such as pay bills, send money and more.
BMO also says security and privacy information are now also found on the main page of the “More” menu, while this update also includes compatibility fixes for iOS 12.2.
Last spring, BMO Mobile Banking finally added a mobile cheque deposit feature, years late compared to its competitors.
