CBC News for iOS has been updated to bring a dedicated COVID-19 pandemic news section, to make it easier to read all about coronavirus on one page.
The dedicated section appears right at the top of the CBC News feed, titled ‘Coronavirus Pandemic’, with a description that reads, “latest guidance and local information about COVID-19”. With numerous updates daily from various provincial governments and the federal government regarding COVID-19, a dedicated section appears to be appropriate.
According to CBC News, this update also now lets you “customize your local feed in the video section, as of this release.”
Earlier this month, the 24/7 CBC News Network went free within the CBC News app, on the web and cable TV, offering live streaming “to ensure more Canadians have access to the latest trusted information.”
