Here Are the 8 Samsung Products Apple Seeks to Ban in the U.S.

The Verge reports on the Samsung devices Apple seeks to ban in the U.S., as noted in their court filing:

“Apple respectfully submits the following chart, reflecting the eight out of the twenty-eight adjudicated infringing products for which it seeks a preliminary injunction pending a final injunction…”

Galaxy S 4G
Galaxy S2 (AT&T)
Galaxy S2 (Skyrocket)
Galaxy S2 (T-Mobile)
Galaxy S2 Epic 4G
Galaxy S Showcase
Droid Charge
Galaxy Prevail

Apple reserves all rights regarding a permanent injunction, but has tailored this list to address a portion of the immediate, ongoing irreparable harm that Apple is suffering.

Out of the list of devices above, the Galaxy S2 would still be a pretty popular phone, but as for the others, the report notes they aren’t widely available in the U.S. Earlier today Samsung asked for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 sales ban to be lifted in the U.S.

With Apple’s court victory over Samsung, the latter is set to pay just over $1 billion in damages to Apple. The loss caused Samsung’s stock value to plunge $12 billion in market value to begin the Monday trading day.
