Bell’s Crave Now Offers Free 30-Day Trial for New Customers

Crave free trial

Streaming service Crave from Bell Media normally comes with a 7-day free trial, but this morning the company announced it has increased to 30 days for new customers.

Crave says the 30-day trial is available for “any new subscribers with access to the internet,” to let Canadians “sample the service”. With the COVID-19 pandemic, Canadians are spending time ‘social distancing’ and taking full advantage of streaming services.

The free trial will offer access to packages such as Movies + HBO, STARZ, and/or Super Écran.

According to Bell, the 30-day trial is available until April 30, 2020, available to first-time, direct-to-consumer subscribers, with access available through the Crave app (including Apple TV) or on the web. This means those subscribing to Crave through a TV service provider won’t be able to get the 30-day free trial.

The free trial should allow for some decent binging of HBO titles. It’s worth noting Crave doesn’t offer 4K streaming, sadly.

Currently, Bell is offering some free TV channels previews for its TV subscribers, a similar move being made by other service providers amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
