Lucky mobile bell offer

Lucky Mobile is owned by Bell and offers prepaid wireless services on the latter’s 3G network. A recent offer from parent company Bell is trying to entice prepaid customers on Lucky Mobile switch over by offering a $45/6GB plan.

The text message from Lucky Mobile reads, “We’re happy to share an exclusive offer from our friends at Bell. Switch to a monthly plan on Canada’s fastest network and get a Samsung A20 for $0 on an exclusive $45/mo. 2-yr. Plan with 6GB of data and unlimited Canada-wide talk & talk.”

Bell’s website does not list any comparable plan for $45 with 6GB data, so this is one way to entice a prepaid customer to switch over to postpaid on an exclusive plan.

We’ve seen similar moves by Rogers and Telus to try to migrate customers over to postpaid from their prepaid subsidiaries (chatr and Public Mobile respectively) as well.

Lucky Mobile customers are told to call the number listed in the text message or visit a Bell store, by February 15, 2020.
