Last week we told you about Koodo launching a limited time 3GB data bonus on select plans, and now Fido and Virgin Mobile have matched that offer, as expected.
But this time around, Koodo has extended their 3GB data bonus to all their BYOD plans, whereas last weekend the promo stopped short for plans $70 and higher.
Fido says their offer is part of their ‘Spring Fling Event’, for all plans starting at $50 or higher. A one-time $30 Transaction Fee applies for processing an activation or phone upgrade:
3GB data bonus available with new activation or phone upgrade on in-market 1GB, 3GB, 5GB, 8GB, and 10GB Fido Pulse plans. Change of plan or phone upgrade following plan activation will terminate data bonus.
Virgin Mobile offers the same promo, adding 3GB of bonus data for plans $50 or higher, starting from their $50/1GB plan with 500 minutes all the way up to the $120 plan with 10GB data.
Again, you should try switching to these bonus promo plans if they’re better than your existing plan, but beware data overages are charged at $7/100MB or $70/1GB.
These data bonuses are available in all provinces except for Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Quebec. The ‘wireless tango’ is going on pretty strong here, don’t you think?
