Videotron’s Fizz Mobile to Launch Home Internet on March 14

Videotron’s discount brand, Fizz Mobile, is set to launch its home internet offering to everyone, starting on Thursday, March 14.

Fizz launched its home internet offering back in November 2018 to a limited number of testers, with the beta set to end on Wednesday.

The internet pricing once the beta ends is tentatively listed as follows:

  • $45 for 15 Mbps download
  • $55 for 30 Mbps download
  • $60 for 60 Mbps download
  • $70 for 120 Mbps download

Upload speeds are 10 Mbps for all plans except the 120 Mbps plan has 20 Mbps upload. All plans have unlimited data usage.

Fizz internet includes a Wi-Fi modem/router and free auto-installation, or $30 for a full technician installation.

The company also has a referral program, where both parties can get $25 each, if you sign up under a friend and make your second payment.

The Fizz internet footprint is essentially Videotron internet, so only in Quebec. The service offers no contracts and no credit checks as it is a prepaid service.

Those requiring support from Fizz will need to seek help via online solutions such as emailing, live chat, or visiting the Community Hub.

Early beta testers have noted on Reddit they are happy with Fizz Mobile internet, noting it has been consistent.
