Koodo, Fido and Virgin Again Extend $34/1GB BYOD ‘Promo’ in Quebec
Over the past month or so Koodo has been offering weekend ‘promos’ for BYOD plans in Quebec, offering their $40 plan with 1GB of data for $34.
These limited time ‘offers’ continue to expire and renew, as they have today for yet another weekend promo:

Of course, Fido and Virgin Mobile also ‘conveniently’ matched these offers instantly:

Also worth mentioning is all three carriers are still offering a BYOD $57 plan with 2GB of data right now as well, as yet another ‘time limited’ sale, for those outside of Quebec (and MB/SK).
Of course, these are only “limited time” offers so if you missed out the last time around, make sure you call in and get your plan changed to save a few bucks.

I live in NB no good price for us 🙁
maybe they should consider extending that offer to the rest of Canada.
As I’ve said before, there should be a class action lawsuit against this ongoing practice. It’s discrimination against the bulk of Canadians not to mention unfair business practices!
The competition bureau always seems to look the other way.
Must be getting a pay out from the carriers.
Sadly, you’re probably right.
I had the 40$ plan and called this morning to switch it to the 34$ promotion. Took all of 2 minutes!
Easy money!
