MTS has announced the launch of its 4G LTE network in Ste. Anne, the sixth community in Manitoba to receive the faster wireless network in 2013.
“MTS committed to connecting six more Manitoba communities to its 4G LTE wireless network before the end of 2013, and with the addition of Ste. Anne, we completed our goal,” said MTS President Kelvin Shepherd. “More than 800,000 Manitobans now have access to blazing-fast LTE wireless coverage from MTS.”
Ste. Anne joins Victoria Beach, Grand Beach, Portage la Prairie, Selkirk and Steinbach to receive LTE, part of a $40 million investment for 2013; Winnipeg and Brandon first received LTE in 2012.
iPhone 5, iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s users can also experience HD Voice on the MTS 4G LTE network as well.
