3 Year Contract Pricing:
16GB – $159
32GB – $269
64GB – $369Contract-free pricing (you might as well buy unlocked from Apple.ca)

32GB – $749
64GB – $849
Rogers has contacted us to notify customers the iPhone 4S can be reserved through the Rogers Reservation System starting tomorrow at 6AM EST (3AM PST).
The Rogers Reservation System is accessed by visiting Rogers.com and will require a MyRogers.com account. Once logged in, click on “Device Registration” and follow the instructions.
You will have to pay a $40+tax refundable reservation fee, but this amount will be put towards the cost of the iPhone 4S. You will be credited once the phone ships from the Rogers warehouse, and you can cancel your reservation anytime.
There has been no word yet regarding 3 year term pricing, and early upgrade polices for the iPhone 4S. Stay tuned.
Also, don’t forget tonight at 12:01AM PDT, Apple.ca will start their pre-orders online for the iPhone 4S. Unlocked units will start at $649, most likely for a 16GB model.

Just spent a day at the mall shopping for new contracts. My 3GS and the mrs 3G is booth up for contract renewel from Rogers and have been paying over $100 each. Both our phones are in rough shape, cracked screen etc, and thus holding out for the Latest iPhone. 4s will do, don’t think we can wait till next summer for the 5.
City fido and bell business plans both seem way better than what we currently have, I’ll call Rogers retentions see if they can match, otherwise it’s onto bell or fido. New phones new contracts!!
Recommendations between fido and bell? The data on bell is 6gb, and city fido “should have a 6gb plan” again in the next week or so.

I have had my iPhone 4 since day 1 when it came out, July 31st and so its only been like a year and 2.5 months.
I am not sure i can upgrade and am not sure if they will have an early upgrade fee and so if i reserve the device if i find out that i cant upgrade then can i refund it?
Please help me out.

You need to have a Online “MyRogers” account. Log in, and then either on your billing page or “Products and Services” there will be a red button “Device Reservation”. Click on it and it give it a second or two to load up a page. You should see Device Reservation for your phone number. Then you select phone, pick up location, and confirm.

You inspired me to do the same thing…. I’d reserved one thru Rogers first thing this morning and have now (quite late, I know) reserved one thru Apple. If the price is comparable, I’ll keep the unlocked one and return Rogers…. (or whichever arrives first!! LOL)

agreed! I reserved the 32gb white at 8am and am 602 in line. I don’t much care that I’m not #1, hopefully that will give me more time to figure out what their pricing will be, if I’m HUP eligible, and cancel my pre-order if need be.

hi, does anyone know if the $30/6G plan is coming back? I was able to get a reservation but was under the impression the plan would still be available for the new launch. Customer service just told me it was phased out. Sigh. I will have to cancel if it is since paying that much for data is just ridiculous. (am on the bb $30/6G plan right now)

I thought so to, but customer service can’t change it over (despite trying) because the “item numbers are different”. I have asked Rogers before and got the same answer. Retentions may be able to do something, but people have been having difficulty. Sigh.
You don’t have to change anything… Just get a micro sim card for your iPhone, activate it in your account and use your current plan in your iPhone.

your number is NATIONWIDE for that specific model (ex. White 64gb)
If your number is, say, 100 for a 32gb black model, your phone will be the 100th black 32gb model to leave rogers’ warehouse from their stock that is reserved for reservation customers. It will then be shipped to the store for you to pick it up.
Thanks. 256 for 32GB Black. I figure if each store (participating in the reservation program) is getting 10-15 of each model on day 1, then I should be safe. Of course, this is all speculation.
I hope you are right. I’m 304 for 32GB Black. Pissed me off. I was messing around with IE and the submit button wasn’t working. Went into firefox and it worked first try. Lost at least 50 spots!! I assume the top 500 for each category should be more than safe but who can say for sure.

Any chance you may know on average how many Rogers will get for this “Reserved Stock”? Or when they get this stock in their warehouse? Do they get it in their warehouse on the 14th and then ship or will they get it this week and ship on the 14th?
Sorry no idea……I don’t think we will ever know this (outside of select rogers employees). I would assume that they would allocate some of their stock being received this week to lineup customers and the rest to reservation customers. We will have to wait until Friday to see which people are getting shipping notifications relative to their place in line.

I ordered my 16g black at about 2:45 am and ended up as number 60 on the wait list. What numbers did others get when signing up for the pre-order?
This was shipped on the 13th but I still have not received it. I am so annoyed with Rogers right now. The site says 4days max for shipping! What did they do send it via ground.

I can’t say for certain but after my iPhone 4 busted a month ago, I went into a Rogers store a couple of weeks ago and asked what the damage would be to replace it. They told me I could get the 16GB iPhone 4 for $159 with the standard renewal stuff. I asked about what would happen with the then unannounced iPhone 4S/5 and the guy there said that in all probability, I would still be eligible for the full hardware discount if I re-signed (though he was just shy of guaranteeing). Now, I’ve been with Rogers now for a few years and I currently have a corporate account with them so it’s entirely possible that my case isn’t the typical one but there is still hope.
When I spoke with Rogers yesterday, they mentioned they would be offering “Early upgrade” for $15/month ahead of schedule. For instance, if you were 6 months away from upgrade eligibility, the fee would be $15 x 6 = $90 + cost of phone.
That would make sense…i’m eligible in 3 months a girl said on the phone and my early upgrade fee would be $45.
I hope your information is right. I went into a Rogers store today and they said I had to pay $20 per month for each month before 30 months. I was told my fee would be $320 plus the cost of the phone. Will pay it, however….. Hopefully, there will be improvements announced soon. For previous launches Rogers came through with discounts that made me a reasonably happy customer….. Especially when others were not getting the same deals at Bell, etc. It’s a good way for them to keep me as a lifetime customer and I tell all my friends about it. Are you listening Rogers?????
So I just spoke with a Rogers rep on the phone.
She was able to confirm the prices on a contract at:
$159 for the 16 GB
$269 for the 32 GB
$369 for the 64 GB.
I asked if they were offering any special promotions for upgrading from a previous iPhone and she told me it would be store specific for some reason.
Got mine. 879 for black 32 and 546 for white 36.
I got position #527 for the black 16GB this morning at 6:18am…just checked back now and went up to #519 though! I hope this keeps up!

I spoke with Roger’s and it sounds like they are sticking with the 30 month term to be elegible for an early upgrade.
I thought that they used to allow existing IPhone users an early upgrade after 12 months of contract. This sucks.
My wife’s 3GS will have to wait a full 12 months before she can update (without paying a fee) if this is true. 🙁
I hope that is not true. I’ve reserved my device anyway, I got the 3GS in Nov 2009 so that is almost 24 months. I’ll be pissed if they make me pay $20 x 6 months = $120 to upgrade. Guess I will cancel my reservation when the time comes that they announce their pricing and upgrade eligibility.
i was number 1 for the iPhone 4s 16 white . i kept refreshing but it said in the confirmation email “White iPhone 4 16GB” so i cancelled. then they fixed it. got the Black 4S 16gb now I’m 380. lol sucks.
