Rogers-owned Chatr has added a new $40 monthly plan with 50GB of data on Friday, expanding the top of its prepaid Talk, Text & Data lineup.
The new tier includes a 10GB Auto-pay bonus on top of the 50GB base allotment, along with unlimited Canada-wide talk, unlimited Canada, US and international text, and voicemail. That sits above the $35 plan Chatr currently labels as its best deal.

The new tier comes after Chatr cut data and raised prices in July. Our October prepaid roundup still listed Chatr topping out at $35 before today’s addition.
Chatr still offers the $159 yearly plan with 40GB for customers who prefer to pay once and manage the allotment over the year. The prepaid flanker runs on the Rogers network.
