Looks like Rogers has started a new promo called “Get a gig on us”, where the following $63/$73 monthly plans get an extra 1GB of data at no extra charge, notes MobileSyrup:
$73 4GB Promotional Voice and Data Plan:
– 200 anytime minutes (local)
– Evenings and weekends starting at 6PM
– Unlimited text, picture and video messaging
– MY10 Canada-wide calling and messaging
– 4GB data (LTE and shareable)$63 2GB Promotional Voice and Data Plan:

The above plans are available from October 1st to the 14th.
The move resembles a somewhat similar move by Fido, where it recently doubled the data on select monthly plans. Just this weekend Rogers offered another promo where activation fees were waived.

Meh, for $79 after tax I get 6gb and essentially the same thing on Fido. No data sharing and no My10
I get that all for $57 on Fido. Without My10 or shareable but I get unlimited incoming. + 6GB
I have everything other than my 10 and my E&W start at 7 but I pay $54 tax in with Fido. 6 gig data.
I get evertyhing for 75$ with Bell…. + 10h of Mobile TV + VoiceMail + Call display… Oh yeah 6Gb….
I find weird that Rogers offered last week for 73$ 6Gb… and now they are making a promo for the same price but with 4 Gb… Wow… amazing deal Rogers….(Ironic)!
$75 sounds like a lot. Are you a new customer?
How does that sound like alot considering the $73 plan stated above does not include VM/CD, plus 6gb of data instead of 4gb. Not to mention the 10 hours of Mobile TV.
$60/6gb super plan from the summer… Way better than these plans.
Oh well as good as you can find now for new customers. Retentions can still offer you stuff way better though.
I thought the same thing until I realized they were talking about LTE. But I still havent seen the speed difference between LTE and 3G. Ive been on the 6GB data plan since the iPhone 3G came out. It was $30 back then too

There is a current LTE outage for Rogers/Fido. Expect it to be back in the AM.
A friend of mine just got the $63/mo plan with 1GB data….could he just call in and ask for 2GB?
“amazing deal”, I have had the same 73 dollar for past 3 yrs now with 6gb data.. I really hope the new companies like WIND step up their game and bring the big trio down. (which btw i dont see that happening for sometime now)
I pay $64+12 (iPhone value pack)+tax for everything listed above, plus 6gb data. Has anyone been able to combine and not pay for the value pack?
