Rogers/Fido, Telus/Koodo, Bell/Virgin All Offering Up to 7GB Data Bonuses on Select Plans

‘Wireless tango’ is alive and well in Canada, as Rogers, Telus and Bell, along with their flanker brands Fido, Koodo and Virgin, are all simultaneously offering data bonuses right now, ranging from 3GB, 5GB or 7GB, depending on plan.

BYOD plans are seeing bonuses of 3GB, while contract plans are seeing bonuses ranging from 3GB, 5GB and 7GB, depending on the tab amount.

Below, you can see some screenshots of Rogers, Telus and Bell all offering and highlighting 5GB data bonuses on their websites (which are still absolutely infuriating to navigate, by the way; nobody needs chat pop-ups or session time outs).

Fido, Koodo and Virgin have similar data bonuses as well, but they only go as high as 5GB of extra data. Rogers, Bell, Telus and their flanker brands all charge $10/100MB for data overages.

While we’re seeing data bonuses from the Big 3 and their flanker brands, Shaw’s Freedom Mobile also is offering their own 2GB data bonus as well, eligible on their Big Gig 10GB/15GB/20GB, Big Gig + Talk 5GB/10GB/15GB/20GB, or Home 2GB plans. The bonus means you can get a plan starting at $50 with 7GB of data and unlimited Canada-wide talk.

Earlier today, we noted how chatr (Rogers) and Lucky Mobile (Bell) recently launched their lower-cost data-only plans, as required by the CRTC.
