Fido Launches $45 Canada-Wide BYOD Plan with 1GB Data, Matches Koodo
As expected, Fido has launched their own $45/month unlimited Canada-wide plan with 1GB data for BYOD customers, matching a move Koodo made less than two weeks ago, which was similarly matched by Virgin Mobile last week.
As you can see below, Fido says this offer ends on May 4, 2015:

Koodo’s promo plan ends on May 3, 2015 and includes international texting. Virgin’s plan includes unlimited SMS/MMS to Canada/USA.
If you are on an existing BYOD Fido plan with 1GB data that’s more expensive than what this $45 plan offers exactly, be sure to call in and save a few bucks.

Too late FIDO I switched 2 days ago!
Great! One few person to share the network. Now my 6Gb plan should be faster. 😛
Glad to have thrown you a bone.
Glad you made a new friend 🙂
LOL! Nice reply.
Too late Fido, I’ve switched a couple of month as well. I have the exact plan and they charged me 50. Nothing they can do to lower they said….
Is it true that these new plans – including the temporary discounted plan mentioned in this article – do not include VoiceMail? I hope it isn’t so.
No voicemail and no international texting. Good-bye.
That’s what Skype and Viber is for.
Best plan is from Koodo.
