Rogers has launched a new promotion targeting the upcoming Chinese New Year, according to documents seen by iPhone in Canada.
The company says starting today, January 24, 2019, they’re launching a “new promotional offer for the Chinese New Year.” The promo says customers activating or upgrading a main line plus one additional line “are getting 8GB of data”. The additional line must be one of the listed $80 Premium Tab plans or higher.
Rogers says Premium, Premium+ and Ultra Share Everything Plans are eligible for this offer. These plans get the following discounted prices as part of this promo:
On top of savings on these three tiers of Share Everything Plans, Rogers says the promo includes 1000 minutes of international calling for 24 months to select Asian destinations (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau to name a few).
This promo is available nationwide (except in SK, MB, QC) for consumer or business customers and doesn’t work with other offers or bonuses.
The documentation says Rogers is not advertising this promo on its website, so it’s only available at Rogers stores and authorized dealers.
