Rogers announced on Wednesday it is offering up to 12 months free of Disney+, for select Ignite TV, SmartStream and Infinite wireless plans, when customers sign up for the streaming service through the telco.

Rogers also offers 6 months of free Apple Music with select Infinite plans, when customers sign up for the streaming service through them. The company says they are the first telco in Canada to partner with Disney on this perk. Disney+ regularly costs $11.99/month or $119.99 per year.
“With the launch of Disney+ to our Ignite TV, Ignite SmartStream and Infinite customers, we are delivering on our commitment to expand our content offerings and provide an unmatched entertainment experience with more choice and convenience than ever before,” said Eric Bruno, SVP, 5G, Content and Connected Home Products, Rogers Communications, in an issued statement.
Michael Paull, President, Disney+ added, “With this collaboration, Rogers customers will have the ability to experience Disney+ and all of the exclusive originals, new feature films, ‘binge-able’ series, short-form content, documentaries, and incredible content from Disney’s iconic brands that viewers want.”
Existing Disney+ subscribers are eligible for the offer. Rogers says it will be paused once you subscribe to Disney+ through the company. If you cancel your Rogers Disney+ subscription, your regular subscription will resume regular billing.
