Rogers Pro On-the-Go Now Available in Most of the Greater Toronto Area

Last month Rogers announced a new service for customers called Pro On-the-Go in select neighbourhoods in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), in what it called “a new personalized retail service that makes buying a device more convenient and easy.”

Customers ordering smartphones online can get a Rogers “pro” to show up at a time and location of their choosing (home, work, coffee shop, etc.), to assist with device setup, such as going over features and also offering accessories. Rogers says these “connected solutions” pros can show up “within hours” of a customer’s online order.

Rogers says the free service is now widely available in most of the GTA. The company previously said GTA neighbourhoods would get the service in “late October”. In the coming weeks, the service will continue to expand in the GTA.

More cities across Canada are pegged to get Pro On-the-Go in 2020, while the service will also support connected home services next year.

Below is a map of existing Rogers On-the-Go availability in the GTA, as of today (the Rogers website will be updated later today):

The Pro On-the-Go service is a partnership with former Apple retail chief Ron Johnson’s company, Enjoy. Rogers is offering the Enjoy service exclusively in Canada (AT&T, Google and Sonos use Enjoy in the United States).
