SaskTel has announced today faster internet options are available to Maple Creek and Shaunavon, as interNET Extended 25 and 50 plus maxTV Stream are now available in both towns in Saskatchewan.
“I am pleased to see SaskTel continuing their efforts to bring world-class services to communities across the province, so that our residents and businesses can remain connected to their worlds during these challenging times,” said Don Morgan, Minister Responsible for SaskTel, in a statement.
Both plans offer speeds up to 25 and 50 Mbps download, which SaskTel says are the fastest internet plans it has offered to date. So far, over 320 communities across the province have download speeds of up to 50 Mbps.
With maxTV Stream, customers can get traditional TV along with streaming apps such as Netflix and YouTube. The service allows for viewing and pausing live TV and video on demand from any device, nationwide.
SaskTel says today’s announcement is part of the company’s commitment to invest $324 million across Saskatchewan in 2020-2021.
