SaskTel has today announced the launch of its interNET Extended 25 and 50 internet packages as well as maxTV Stream in the Town of Leader, bringing the next-generation in television and entertainment and faster internet to the residents of Leader.
“We’re committed to being the best at connecting the people of Saskatchewan and we’re excited to bring faster internet and the latest in entertainment to the people of Leader,” said Doug Burnett, SaskTel President and CEO.
Delivering download speeds up to 25 and 50 Mbps, interNET Extended 25 and interNET Extended 50 are the fastest rural internet packages SaskTel has ever offered. maxTV Stream combines the best of traditional television with advanced technology and the latest over-the-top (OTT) content from Netflix and YouTube.
The continued expansion of maxTV Stream along with interNET Extended 25 and 50 are a direct result of SaskTel’s commitment to invest $324 million of capital across Saskatchewan in 2020/21 and over $1.4 billion through to 2025. These investments will ensure that SaskTel customers will continue to enjoy some of the best communication and entertainment services in the world.
SaskTel now offers internet packages with download speeds of up to 50 Mbps or faster in over 330 communities province-wide.
Update: SaskTel Internet and maxTV Stream has also launched in McPhee Lake.
