TekSavvy announced on Monday it has launched its fibre-to-the-home in Mitchell’s Bay, Grande Pointe and Pain Court, in the Chatham-Kent community in Ontario.
According to the independent internet service provider, its fibre internet service now reaches over 250 homes and businesses in these three areas, made possible as part of the Southwestern Integrated Fibre Technology (SWIFT) regional broadband program.
“TekSavvy is proud to deliver the latest fibre-based technology to Mitchell’s Bay, Grande Pointe and Pain Court,” says Charlie Burns, Chief Technology Officer at TekSavvy, in a statement to iPhone in Canada. “Residents can access fast, reliable internet service with download speeds up to 1Gbps and unlimited usage — and all at a reasonable price.”

TekSavvy fibre internet offers up to 1 Gbps download speeds with unlimited bandwidth. The company says an existing promotion offers a $20/month bill credit for the first 12 months on its Fibre 1000 Unlimited package.
