TELUS Launches 4G LTE Network in Lethbridge and Taber
TELUS has announced the launch of its 4G LTE network in Lethbridge and Taber, part of a plan to cover 80 percent of Alberta’s population by the year’s end via the company’s $8 million investment in the area:
“TELUS is committed to offering the best customer experience and launching our 4G LTE service in Lethbridge and Taber is an excellent example of how we’re doing that,” said Fred Weinheimer, general manager of Customer Solutions Delivery for the community. “With a 4G LTE device, our customers can enjoy the fastest wireless technology available in the world today – we are continuing to expand this new technology, community by community, so that by the end of the year more than 80 per cent of Alberta residents are expected to have access. It’s an ambitious undertaking.”
Just 10 days ago, TELUS launched LTE in Brooks and earlier in Camrose and Wetaskiwin. Who’s excited for this?

I agree! We should have it by end of this year from what ive heard
yeah, they said that last year too… both Telus AND Rogers…
DAMNIT NOOOOO!!!! I live in Lethbridge but I’m on Rogers…c’mon!
After 20 years with Rogers I just switched to Telus! I’m sick of crap coverage and Telus is heaps ahead of Rogers with LTE and other efforts they are doing to improve customer relations!
In Edmonton with telus and can’t get speeds over 10 mbs , anybody getting speeds of 24-36 like I read about Vancouver or Toronto ?
