If you’re using an unlocked iPhone or other smartphone, Koodo has just introduced a new Canada-wide SIM-only plan for $59/month (does not apply to SK/MB/QC).
The plan already includes the No Tab discount (10% off; aka BYOD) plus:
Unlimited anytime minutes (evenings and weekends, etc)
2GB of data; $10/500MB overages
Unlimited SMS/MMS
Canada-wide calling, includes Family calling
Call display, voicemail, call waiting and conference calling
The details online says it’s only available in retail stores.
Fido and Virgin Mobile offer the same plan but it’s $63 after the BYOD discount. So Koodo’s plan is $4 cheaper at $59. This plan is not bad if you aren’t a heavy data user and have an unlocked iPhone. Let us know if you’re going to jump on this.
