Telus has increased the price of some Koodo tab plans, with Tab Large, Tab Extra large and Tab Extra Extra Large seeing a monthly price increase by $6 per month, now all starting at $85 per month, according to MobileSyrup.
Tab plans with Koodo allow customers on contract to repay an upfront smartphone loan over 24 months.
There is a silver lining, however. Koodo’s starting price for its Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) plans now begin at $30 per month (with 1GB data and zero minutes), seeing a $5 price drop.
Recent price increases have seen Rogers/Fido and Bell/Virgin all increase their $60/10GB holiday plan by $5 per month to $65. So far, Telus/Koodo have not followed with a similar price increase—yet.
