Telus-owned prepaid brand, Public Mobile, has launched another ‘flash sale’ like clockwork, offering a 2GB data bonus for 12 months on new activations with plans $25 or higher.
The promo code 12MONTH2GB needs to be used at checkout to obtain the offer, which is available to new customers activating online or at participating retail locations. Public Mobile no longer requires a prospective customer to submit their email to get the promo code, as it’s now optional.
When applied to the $25 plan with 500MB data, the data bonus results in a $25/2.5GB plan or $25/3GB after Autopay.
The promotion goes from April 22 to April 25 at retail partners, while online activations need to be activated by May 6, 2022, after purchasing a SIM card online.
As of writing, Rogers’ Chatr and Bell’s Lucky Mobile have yet to match the promotion, but expect that to happen soon.
