Public Mobile has launched a promotion offering bonus 3G data for new and existing customers on select 30-day plans.
The Telus prepaid wireless brand announced this morning “We are excited to launch a limited time only bonus 500MB/ 30 days on select 3G data plans,” in their community forums.
Eligible plans include the $40 for Canada-wide Talk plan with international Text, 2GB data plus 500MB of bonus 3G data, for a total of 2.5GB. Public Mobile uses the Telus network, but throttles LTE speeds to 3Mbps for download and upload, simulating 3G.
As for those looking to sign up for 30 and 90-day plans, here is what it looks like according to Public Mobile:

Public Mobile doesn’t mention when the promo will end, only to say it’s “for a limited time only.”
The promo here looks to be matching a similar offer launched over a week ago from Rogers prepaid brand, Chatr Mobile.
