Telus-owned prepaid brand, Public Mobile, has launched a refer-a-friend bonus right now, where those referring their first friend or family member can get $20, double the regular $10 credit.
“We’ve always believed in sharing within your Community, even from a distance. Bring your first friend to Public Mobile between May 14 and May 31 and get a $20 bonus on top of our usual awesome Refer A Friend Reward,” explains the Public Mobile website.
The regular refer-a-friend reward usually means your friend gets a $10 credit, while you get $1 every 30 days (or $3 every 90 days). Friends signing up to Public Mobile need to do so using your referral code during activation (found within online self-serve).
Public Mobile rewards are earned every 30 days as long as your friends remain customers. The referral bonus expires May 31, 2020, at 11:59PM ET. The $20 one-time bonus will be automatically applied to eligible accounts by June 5, 2020 and can be stacked with additional promos.
