Telus and Ericsson have announced they are one step closer to launching commercial 5G applications for the enterprise.

Telus announced on Tuesday an investment of $14.5 billion into Alberta.

Telus says it will invest $13 billion to expand PureFibre internet and 5G across British Columbia.

Koodo is offering up some promotional plans for some of its existing customers.

Over 3.5 million homes and businesses in B.C., Alberta, and Quebec will be connected.

Koodo has been texting a free 10GB monthly bonus data offer to select customers.

Rogers has made the donation to the Red Cross response in India.

Telus restored internet after it was down for 36 hours, due to some damn beavers.

Data overages with Koodo now cost $13 per 100MB, or $130 for 1GB.

Telus continues to offer a special plan to lure customers back to the company.

"I don’t even know how this is allowed. It’s so disorganized", said an ex-employee who worked at one of the call centres.

The investment will accelerate the deployment of Telus PureFibre and 5G network.
