Case-Mate Privacy Screen Pro Review–CONTEST!!!
A while back I posted that I would be receiving some samples from Case-Mate. Well, those samples came today via FedEx! Today’s iPhone accessory review will be focused on the Case-Mate Privacy Screen Pro. This is a universal privacy screen protector to keep what you’re looking at from prying eyes (we all know that people are shocked when they spot iPhones out in public!). Now that creepy guy sitting beside you won’t be able to see a thing (BTW: I’m giving this privacy protector away for free! Read on…)
Features of the Case-Mate Privacy Screen Pro
-45 degree viewing angle versus 60 degree viewing angles of competitors, both vertically and horizontally
-Installs using a static cling design; it can be cleaned by washing it with water
-Comes with a cleaning cloth, graph sheet for sizing (not needed for iPhone owners!), and a soft applicator card.
What’s the Verdict on this Privacy Screen Protector?
After opening the package, I noticed a well made dark plastic 2″ by 3″ piece which I was to peel and put onto my iPhone. Peeling off the first layer will activate the static cling, which went on very easily to my iPhone’s screen. After that, I peeled off another thin plastic strip to finalize the install.
The privacy screen raises your iPhone’s screen just under 1mm–so for those who want a smooth finish to their iPhone’s screen this might irritate you. As for the touch sensitivity, the phone functioned with no huge delays, given that I had installed this over my InvisibleShield. I did notice it dimmed my screen by a bit, but it’s still looking good.
What about the privacy part you ask? Well, this is where the Case-Mate Privacy Screen Pro really shines. By angling my iPhone 45 degrees, I could not make out what was on the screen. It’s not completely black, but whoever is trying to view the content on your iPhone will be out of luck! This makes it perfect for those sitting on a bus or the subway, and want privacy when you’re on the iPhone!
Removing the privacy screen was easy and did not leave any residue whatsoever. So this makes taking it on and off a cinch–this makes carrying it with you simple! So there you have it folks–if you’re tired of people checking out your episodes of The Family guy when you’re on the bus or subway, then this privacy screen from Case-Mate just might be for you! For $19.99, it is pricey but it’s a small price to pay for absolute privacy!

wow so many contests!! Have you tried to get some “samples” of the mirror screen, it looks pretty sweet! When the screen is of the front acts like a mirror… perfect for the people who need to do their make-up or pluch their nose hairs while driving!!(not that I would do that of course, crazy people) Then when you turn on your screen the mirror effect isn’t there, just the lit up screen. Very chic!

I hope that I get the case as I have the worst luck at phones. I had to buy the other phone that I have now because the one that came with my plan hit the toilet. So I’m sort of accident prone when it comes to phones and I have a feeling that this case would save my IPhone’s life one day!
