Apple.ca restocked its iPad 6 in the refurbished store today, with the Wi-Fi version with 32GB storage available for $279, saving you $110, according to the company.
This older sixth-generation iPad with 9.7-inch display is from March 2018 and is powered by Apple’s A10 Fusion chip, plus supports the first-generation Apple Pencil.
Refurbished iPads come with a new outer shell and battery, plus Apple’s standard 1-year warranty.
Apple launched its iPad 9 this year, featuring a 10.2-inch display like the iPad 8, but for 2021 we now have True Tone and sRGB support, while being powered by the A13 Bionic chip found in the iPhone 11 lineup. Starting storage for this year’s iPad 9 also has doubled to 64GB, starting at $429 CAD.
For checking email and browsing the web and consuming streaming media, and light gaming, this iPad will work fine for kids or older adults that don’t use the web that often. It is older though, and the 32GB of storage can fill up fast. If price matters for you, this is a cheap entry into a new iPad.
