SiriusXM Premier Streaming Now Free Through May 15, No Registration Required
If you’re bored at home and want free music and radio, SiriusXM has announced its Premier streaming option is now free through May 15, for listeners in North America.
SiriusXM offers various radio stations and channels, including Howard Stern. The host broadcasted this morning’s show from his home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The best part of this free listening period is it’s available via the web with no registration required and works in Canada.
“With so many people asked to stay at home, we are making our full streaming lineup of music, entertainment, news and information easily accessible to everyone,” said Jim Meyer, SiriusXM CEO, in a statement. “In the days ahead, we hope it’s a valuable source of information or diversion, a generous mix of fresh live content, and a source of companionship that comes from the hosts on our many shows and channels. And there was no better way to launch the Stream Free content than with Howard this morning.”
According to SiriusXM, “listeners will have free access to more than 300 channels of dynamic programming, featuring the acclaimed The Howard Stern Show, hundreds of exclusive ad-free music channels, and vital news and information sources,” to go with new curated content.
On April 1, a new station called #StayHome Radio will launch, offering “feel-good, ad-free music”, available on the platform and on channel 179.
The SiriusXM app is available on iOS, Android and the web, plus, is on smart TVs, devices with Amazon Alexa or the Google Assistant, Apple TV, PlayStation, Roku, Sonos speakers and more.
