Apple has shared a new video detailing how to find your lost AirPods, using the Find My app.

“Use the Find My app to help you locate your lost AirPods (1st or 2nd generation), AirPods (3rd generation), AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max, whether they are in or out of their charging case,” explains Apple.

With the Find My app, you can see your AirPods on a map, plus see the location of your AirPods if they aren’t connected to Wi-Fi or cellular thanks to the Find My network, which leverages millions of iPhones.

Apple also lets you play a sound on your AirPods so you can find them, while you can also enable alerts to let you know if you left them behind somewhere, plus also exclude locations (such as your home).

If you do lose your AirPods, you can enable Lost Mode, which will share a message with the person who finds them, seen on their iPhone.

If your AirPods are out of battery, you may be out of luck, and may only have an idea of their last known location based on the most recent connection.
