Today M.I.C Gadget has posted a follow-up on a recent story about iPhone 5 cases showing up all over China. The earlier report basically showcased a handful of colorful “iPhone 5″cases that were available in China.
What this meant was that manufacturers were confident enough in the final design of the iPhone 5 that they went ahead of produced thousands of these cases. The new report from M.I.C Gadget now showcases an updated gallery with many new styles and colors of cases, all for the yet unreleased next-generation iPhone.
The cases are available on Alibaba.com and various markets in China, so if you wanted to you could go ahead and buy one right now!
As seen in the photos, the cases continue to support recent rumors of the next-generation iPhone featuring a wider display, tapered edges and the mute button being moved to the right side of the device instead of the current left side on the iPhone 4.
What really blows me away is just how thin these cases are, as they look like they are designed more for an iPod touch than an iPhone. Check out the photo gallery here!

IF the next iPhone is that thin, I’m very impressed. I will still have screen envy of the Samsung phones though, as it doesn’t look like the next iPhone will be able to match them in size…. Here’s hoping for a few new killer capabilities, namely HDMI out!

AirPlay …. Light years ahead of cables. Don’t be stuck in the past.
So far ahead, in fact, that hardly anybody has AirPlay capability yet, since the video portion was Apple-only until recently. Yet everybody has a TV or receiver with HDMI inputs. Whether you like it or not, a huge portion of iPhone uses would love to have HDMI-out since they already have lots of devices that use it (laptop, PS3, etc) and have no need to abandon it.
HDMI Out will never be on an iPhone. All these extra ports will only add to the thickness of the phone.

Huh, and Rioch,
You are both ignoring some vital facts.
1) HDMI out / mirroring is already supported on the iPad 2 with a special dock cable.
2) A lot of people like to make presentations, and they don’t want to carry an Apple TV with them to do so.
3) Airplay is not the future for presentations, since it is far less capable than HDMI mirroring, and not as widely supported. Airplay is a consumer entertainment feature, for Apple TV users only.
4) A simple cable connection is much faster to set up and carry to presentations than fidgeting with an Apple TV.
5) You are both kind of dumb.
Air play just needs time to adapt, look at the 30-pin connector, it’s on virtually everything from car sterio’s to alarm clocks. Give it time and airplay will be available on some tvs and projectors.
in the meantime buy one of these 30 pin to HDMI cables. They’re like 30 bucks at Bestbuy.

Still iPhone 5 shape is not confirmed so it is not a good decision to buy a iphone 5 case. We have to wait for the launch . Hope you agree with me.
