Mac Mini Now Starts at $1,099 After Apple Pulls 256GB Model
The base configuration of the M4 Mac Mini now supports only 16GB of RAM and 512GB of memory.
Apple Updates Remote; All Aluminum Enclosure
Alongside the new iMac and Magic Mouse updates this morning, Apple has updated the existing Apple Remote.
The new Apple Remote features an all aluminum enclosure and black buttons, shedding the previous white plastic enclosure/buttons. The new remote is much thinner and longer than the previous generation and the battery compartment has been moved to the back. As expected, the remote can be used with iPod, iPhone and Mac.
The remote still features the Play/Pause, track skip, volume and menu buttons except that the Play/Pause has been moved down to its own dedicated area and the Menu button moved up next to the Play/Pause.
The Apple Remote is compatible with the Apple Universal Dock (to use with iPod/iPhone) and is available for $19.
