Wow…I have some HUGE news everyone. The wait is finally over! I just got off the phone an hour ago with my Uncle who is a Marketing Manager with Rogers back in Toronto and he says the iPhone being anounced in Canada today! The announcement will take place at 12:00 EST, and immediately the iPhones will be available in store. They have been keeping the entire campaign under wraps, hence the silence we’ve observed all this time.
Also, a new combined monthly voice/data plan will be launching just for the iPhone. It’s going to be called the Rogers iPhone Monthly Plan (umm…how original). The following might change, but he mentioned it will include the following:
Anyways, this is just a huge announcement by Rogers! I never saw this one coming–maybe the Great Canadian iPhone Petition had something to do with it? Anyways guys, STAY tuned to the online forums and the newscasts for the breaking news! I’ll be counting down for sure! =)

I just pre-ordered 6 phones myself from my local Rogers. They are willing to give me credit for the last 6 months service for placing this order. Each phone has to be on a 10 year contract… but hey, it’s an iPhone… I will be using this for the rest of my life, so I figured 8 years per phone… 6 phones… 48 years worth of iPhone and I’m only locked into a 10 year contract on each! Sweet 🙂
I heard if you change your voice mail message to “I love Rogers wireless” you will get a free iPhone with unlimited data!

You need that phone in canada and I need a new Ship with all the fancies a Bilionnaires like me wants. In order to acheive that goal I need to sell that phone in Canada. And you guys just don’t cut it! You are’nt putting enouph pressure on Rogers to accept my proposed Deal wich is fairly simple!
1. Unlimited data and calls for 40 buck (canadian money is good now).
2. That Rogers president use my IPhone as his personnal phone.
3. That all of you Canadians declare Me as your God!
Now is’nt that reasonable ?
And one less bookmark in the iPhone section.
