Gmail for Mobile Gets Retina Display Graphics, Pull to Refresh, and Transitions

Gmail for the web has just received a slight refresh this afternoon, as noted on the Gmail blog. The most notable features include Retina Display graphics and icons for iPhone 4 users, pull to refresh for your inbox, and transitions that slide left to right when navigating between inboxes and menus.

Now, what I don’t understand is why they haven’t updated their homescreen bookmark icon to Retina Display resolution too. Previously, Gmail for the web received an ‘undo bar’ and priority inbox features. Glad to see Google continues to support its iOS users.
